INDICTED IN FEDERAL COURT FOR STEM-CELL SCHEME

The scandal he hopes you’ve forgotten.

Stephen Goldfinch faced federal charges for misbranding stem cells in connection with an unapproved stem-cell harvesting operation.

Federal reporting confirms Goldfinch intended to plead guilty to the charges

Media coverage consistently identifies the operation as unlicensed and in conflict with FDA rules.

Even though the case was settled, the federal indictment remains a major credibility concern for voters.

SAYS ONE THING. VOTES ANOTHER.

Goldfinch’s record doesn’t match his rhetoric

Votes supporting expanded regulation or spending

Expands Government

Establishment Alignment

Alignment with moderate or establishment positions

A conservative in speeches. Establishment in practice.

SOURCES:

TRIED TO STRIP POWER FROM AN ELECTED CONSERVATIVE TREASURER

An insider move against a watchdog chosen by the voters.

The South Carolina Senate voted to remove Treasurer Curtis Loftis, an independently elected conservative, over a disputed accounting issue.

Loftis argued the move was a political attempt to undermine voter authority.

Goldfinch participated in the Senate proceedings, speaking during the removal hearing and supporting structural changes that would move Treasurer oversight to appointed bodies — not voters.

Critics described the effort as a power grab by Columbia insiders.

A LONG TRAIL OF ETHICAL RED FLAGS

Controversial business dealings and public scrutiny.

Goldfinch has no background in prosecution or law enforcement.

Watchdogs and media outlets questioned conflicts of interest and ethical practices.

Federal misbranding case ties directly into earlier business operations.

Transparency and oversight concerns remain ongoing.

NOT A PROSECUTOR. NOT A CRIME-FIGHTER.

Just another politician pretending to be tough.

Goldfinch has no background in prosecution or law enforcement.

No record of courtroom experience dealing with violent crime.

Not known for advancing meaningful criminal justice outcomes.

His “tough on crime” messaging is political branding, not experience.

THREE VOTES. ONE RESULT.

While presenting himself as a conservative, Goldfinch voted three times in ways that advanced the nomination of Democratic attorney James Smith to the bench.

Goldfinch voted to table a motion meant to stop Smith’s nomination.

He voted against recommitting Smith's nomination back to the Judicial Merit Selection Commission (JMSC)

Each vote had the same effect: moving forward the nomination of a pro-choice, far-left democratic figure to a judgeship in South Carolina.

Three votes. Same outcome. Goldfinch helped move James Smith to the bench.

What Others Have Said

SOUTH CAROLINA DESERVES BETTER

Stephen Goldfinch brings indictments, power grabs, and ethical baggage — not conservative leadership.
